Best Wishes to our entire American Legion Family for a prosperous New Year.

Our National Auxiliary President, Rita Navarette, has asked us to “reconnect and energize in the New Year. We need to review last year’s accomplishments and try to improve and positively interact in ways that produce hope, change, growth and solutions”. Remember the best we do is for veterans and their families.

Our famous Chili feed event is on January 22nd. Please support us and come in for this comfort food and good conversation on a cold winter night. On February 21st, we will hold our Senior Dinner. Marlys will be taking reservations after February 1st. Her Telephone number is 763-424-6578.

Auxiliary members, we need you at our meetings! Please come and give us your support and ideas. Thank you to each and every one of you, who have done this in 2009.

We now have a branch of Operation Minnesota Nice meeting on the 3^rd Thursday of every month at our legion. Please tell Alice Redden thank you for organizing and leading this project. They had 25 people present last month. This is very nice addition to our Legion family that sends boxes to our troupes.

Also, the Auxiliary gave out apples the teachers of Osseo Jr., Osseo Sr. and St. Vincent Schools for teacher appreciation week in November as one of our community service projects. Thank you to Connie and Marlys for organizing and helping on this project.

Lets us always keep our servicemen and women in our prayers as they continue to serve our country all over the world.
