Ladies of the Auxiliary,

I am pleased to accept my second year as 2010-2011 Auxiliary President. Thank you to last year's officers and the auxiliary members for their help through the year.  Hopefully we can bring in some new projects and dinners to further help our veterans in need, which is our main purpose.

Our Poppy program was a good success again this year.  We appreciated the trailer provided by Bob Redden as our staging area.  A huge thank you to those who helped with the project.  We had a good time and look forwaard to it again next year.

We held our children and youth benefit dinner in May, for the benefit of Gillette Hospital "Children's Miracle Network".  We hosted over 100 for the evening and raised $1400.00 which will be presented to them on July 19th.  If anyone is interested in taking a tour of the hospital on the 19th, please let me know. Thank you those who helped and especially to Barb Jayson for preparing the meal.

Ladies, we need new members, and members we need your help in our auxiliary.  Let's keep it fresh and active.  We do have fun along with the serious businee and it is heartwarming to see the accomplishments.  Just try it, you'll like it.

Our first meeting for the new Legion year is September 9th at 7:30 pm.  Our first steak fry will be September 17th.  We don't meet in July or August.  Have a safe summer.

Bless our American Legion family and Veterans and be with those who are ill or in distress.
