S.A.L. Members
I hope that the New Year finds everyone safe and happy. 2009 is over and 2010 will hopefully be a
better year for all of us. I would like
to start this year by saying that we had a good ending to last year. Our 8th annual “Breakfast with Santa” was a
great success. We served 195 meals to
the children and their parents. This was
truly a Legion Family function. The
Legion, Auxiliary, S.A.L. and The Legion Riders were all represented in the
volunteers. A BIG Thank-You to all of
you who were there to help. Also, a very
special Thank-You to Dave and Cherie Jogodka for their third annual
contribution to the “Breakfast with Santa” program!
We had a very good turn out for our last meeting of the year, with some
lively discussions. I would like to see
this kind of turn out for all of our meetings (or maybe even better). We are planning another Casino run on
February 21st. This will
basically be like the last one. Sign up
at the bar.
We are still looking for membership.
We are still short of our goal.
If you or someone you know has not paid their dues, PLEASE pay them as
soon as you can. If you have paid your
dues, THANK-YOU!!!
Again, I would like to invite any member of the Legion Family to attend
the S.A.L. meetings held on the second Sunday of the month at
